Yep, that used to be the rule in our previous rentals. Is it true that you can’t use the toilet after midnight?
Paris is dirtyNot saying Paris is dirty
Swiss food is mostly its own thing. Switzerland was a very poor country until the beginning of the 20th century, so typically Swiss food is usually based on cheese, bread and potatoes (and rice in the south). All the good things from French, Italian, and German cuisines?
See the bolded section for those reading? The Swiss may have things in common with countries next door, but Switzerland is very unique. Yep, this is why Swiss German isn’t really German (Although Swiss Standard German, is), it’s Alemannic. I never understand why, in English, people that know Arpitan (another traditional language spoken in Switzerland, for those not in the know, as well as parts of Italy and France) exists, know it’s a separate language than French (although related). I think the issue with the, really, undefined difference between language and dialect is not helping here. So, not only does Switzerland have it’s own food (though I know there are definitely influences), it has native languages spoken without official status.Swiss food is mostly its own thing. That is the biggest complaint of everyone I have heard that has been there. They say it’s nice, but dirty. Not that we don’t have American cities like that, we do.Paris is dirty
Yes and it is a hard dialect to learn, not for the faint of heart. Nur Hochdeutsch bitte!this is why Swiss German isn’t really German (Although Swiss Standard German, is), it’s Alemannic.
That would be dialects, plural. Woe to those who dare think that Berndeutsch is the same as Züritüütsch (Zürcher Deutsch) ! :crazy_face:it is a hard dialect to learn
