I want to feature Eastern Catholic memes on our parish’s facebook page. The problem is that there aren’t that many out there. Anyone up for some friendly competition?

If you need some inspiration, you can look at knowyourmeme.com/memes/popular. It’s a collection of all the common memes floating around like hipster, LOLCats and Good Guy Greg, but you should know there is some language and content there that isn’t praise-worthy. They have a meme generator that makes creating one a snap.

I started with an easy one for the Philipian Fast, which starts Thursday. Who else has an idea?

Hopefully not someone who’s Melkite. Kinda degrading to the Melkites to make them as if a safehaven for Liturgical refugees.

I’ve seen it on Facebook by many Eastern Catholics who thought it was funny, but that is the way I lean, too.

Problem is, I need help making memes featuring the liturgical spoon and His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk. o:

It would be the latter.
In the case of His Beatitude, I want to make a meme that emphasizes his good looks and the desire by some Catholics (such as in certain circles within the UGCC) who want him to become a patriarch. 🙂
