I just wanted to say thank you to all who have prayed for my intentions here, its been overwhelming and very humbling. I do not post here very often but thought I’d let you all know that I’ve added “the intentions of those in the Perpetual Rosary” chain to my list of intentions during morning prayer. all of you will be in my prayers moving forward. Thank you especially to @aroosi and @St.Bede as well as upant, whom catholic answers will not let me tag since new users can only tag 2 at a time.

My faithful friends, here is a quick update.

My husband will be coming home from skilled nursing home tomorrow. This will be the hard part. Communicating with him is very difficult made harder by his innate pride and stubbornness and inability to admit he is wrong or that there is a problem.

I am no Rita of Cascia either

Pray that peace reigns in our home - peace and the love of God.

Most importantly, STORM HEAVEN for my husband’s return to confession and, consequently, Holy Communion. If only he would go back to the sacraments, I am convinced that satan’s stronghold on him would be broken.

Feel free to p.m. me with any spiritual advice.

God bless and reward all of you! Please know how very grateful I am to you for your prayers.

First of all, praise GOD that your husband’s health condition has improved & is coming back home tomorrow! That’s good news indeed! Secondly, GOD knows that you’re not Rita of Cascia, and HE never expects you to be one. You just have to be yourself, that’s all. Thirdly, everyone of us here in this world has a lesson to learn (nobody’s exempted). Some need to be more giving and generous; and some, understanding & compassionate; while others need to be more loving, caring and patient toward one another. It’s called the refiner’s fire. GOD is molding each one of us into the image and likeness of HIS Son; and it’s a grueling process. 😥😓😭😳😩

Changes must start from within oneself. Once the people around you noticed the change within you, they, themself, will eventually change for the better. But it takes time. 🕖 Remember, Rome wasn’t built for a day. So, welcome to the human race, sister!

The following prayer is for you and your husband, that GOD will grant both of you understanding, compassion and patience toward one another; and may the Love of Christ guide your husband back to the faith:
