First Glorious Mystery: the Resurrection (Hail Mary 1)

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death. Amen.

Intentions

For: the health of all priests and other clergy; an end
to COVID-19 and all other epidemics; healing of all who
have caught this disease or other dangerous infections;
the Holy Father’s COV intention.

And: doctors; nurses; all other medical staff; military
personnel; police officers; firefighters; emergency medical
technicians; first responders;

And: Pete; Frank; Linda P.; Margaret R.; Linda M.;
Margaret D.; Kim; Dawn; Judy; Jane; T. and family;
Michelle; Mary P.; Michael; Evan; Father Peter; Ezra;
Janice’s daughter; Nick; Krista; Shaun’s friend; Joan;
young man with neurological disease; Kathleen’s mom.

And: Carmelite nuns in Colo.; my parish and friars;

And: respect for life from conception to natural death;
repentance of those who encourage and perform abortions;
women considering abortions; healing of women who’ve
had abortions;

And: integrity, honesty, and compassion among political
leaders; peace, justice, and mercy among all nations; care
for Creation;

And: unity in the Church; the Holy Father and all other
bishops;

And: an end to persecution of all minorities, immigrants,
refugees, and other marginalized people;

And: CAF staff, visitors, and members; prayer and
Rosary warriors;

And: increased vocations to diaconate, priesthood, and
religious life; fidelity among those called to marriage;

And: all who seek God; all who have strayed from
the faith;

And: those who promote atheism;

And: reparation for blasphemies against the Blessed
Mother; devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus;

And: those who have been hurt, abused, neglected,
or insulted by laity, priests, or religious;

And: repentance of all involved with pornography;
victims of sex trafficking and prostitution;

And: proper care of children; orphans; those in
foster care;

And: the dying; the dead; the poor; the lonely;
the grieving; the sick; the injured; the chronically ill;
the mentally ill; those with scrupulosity; the hungry;
the elderly; those with addictions; troubled families;
the unemployed; caregivers; crime victims; those
plagued by spiritual warfare;

And: The Holy Souls in Purgatory; anyone I’ve
overlooked; and intentions known to God alone.

“ The Second Glorious Mystery – The Ascension of Our Lord into Heaven”

  1. Jesus remains on earth forty days after His Resurrection to prove He has truly risen from the dead.
  2. He commissions the apostles to preach the gospel to every creature, and promises to be with them forever.
  3. He will not leave them orphans, but will send the Holy Spirit to enlighten and strengthen them.
  4. Jesus proceeds to Mt. Olivet accompanied by His Mother and the apostles and disciples.
  5. Extending His pierced hands over all in a last blessing, He ascends into heaven.
  6. As He ascends a cloud takes Him from their sight.
  7. Jesus ascends to take His place at the right hand of the Father.
  8. What jubilation there must be amid the angels of heaven at the triumphant entry of Jesus.
  9. The wounds in His glorified body are an endless plea before the Father on our behalf.
  10. The disciples leave Mt. Olivet and “return to Jerusalem with great joy.”
