For the smooth closing of my daughter’s new home this coming Wednesday, and for the protection of my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, Liam and Lilah, from the coronavirus.

  1. John is baptizing in the Jordan proclaiming a baptism of repentance.
  2. “I am the voice of one crying in the desert, make straight the way of the Lord.”
  3. “One mightier than I is coming after me.”
  4. “I have baptized you with water, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
  5. Seeing Jesus, John exclaims: “Behold the Lamb of God.”
  6. Against protests of his unworthiness, John baptizes Jesus in the Jordan.
  7. After Jesus’ baptism a voice from Heaven: “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”
  8. The Spirit descends upon Jesus in the form of a dove.
  9. In this heavenly manifestation is instituted the sacrament of baptism.
  10. The divine Trinity is manifested: the voice of the Father is heard as the Spirit descends upon the Son.

My daughter and her husband are so excited … they have the walk-through tomorrow … and then the closing on Wednesday at 11 a.m. … this is the house of their dreams … they first bought a town house years back but it was too small when she had their second child … then she bought a big house and was hoping that would be it … but it turned out that the neighbors were all nasty to them because they were fixing up the house … and apparently the neighbors didn’t like that … so my daughter being the kind of person that enjoys having nice neighbors just couldn’t take it and had to find another home … it was a hard decision because the house was so nice … but the house they found is perfect … actually even nicer than the other house … and the neighbors already came out to greet them when they had an inspection of the house … and they all seem like lovely people … so my daughter is very excited and happy.
