Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows…

Closing prayer

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection
of Our Lord Jesus From the Dead
(3rd Hail Mary)

Meditation from Dynamic Catholic

It must have been astonishing Sunday morning. The city
would have been drowning in gossip and emotion.
But few, if any, would have recognized that this was
the main event of human history.

Jesus rose from the dead. On that day there was no
doubt many who ignored it, and many others who
doubted it, rejected it, were skeptical or cynical.

These people have existed in every age and exist today,
but you see them wandering through their lives confused.
It is simply impossible to make sense of life and history
without acknowledging the Resurrection.

For relief for those suffering from physical and/or mental anguish, for those protecting their countries, and for the Poor Souls in Purgatory with no one to pray for them.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Be you, O God, their guide and guardian in all their endeavors, lead them in the path of truth, and draw them nearer to you, that they might live a godly and righteous life in love and fear, doing your will in all things.

Give them grace that they may be temperate, industrious, diligent, devout, and charitable.

Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption of this life.

And direct them in the way of salvation, through the merits of your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the intercessions of His Holy Mother and all the blessed saints.

Amen.

A Mother’s Prayer

Beneath your compassion,
We take refuge, O Mother of God:
do not despise our petitions in time of trouble:
but rescue us from dangers
only pure, only blessed one.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

#The Upper Room in Jerusalem: The Most Important Room in Christendom

The Upper Room, also known as the Cenacle, is located in the southern part of the Old City of Jerusalem on Mount Zion…

According to tradition, this is where the apostles stayed when they were in Jerusalem. It is where the Last Supper took place. The Cenacle is where Jesus washed his disciples’ feet (John 13:1–20), which symbolizes the ministry of loving service. It is where the concept of a loving friendship with Jesus was introduced, as set forth in John’s Last Supper discourses (John 14—16), and gave the apostles a glimpse into the beautiful prayer life of Jesus, sometimes known as the “high priestly prayer,” recorded in John 17. It is the place where the disciples gathered in fear after the death of Jesus and prayed, with Mary, for the coming of the Holy Spirit (John 20:19–23).

By tradition, this is the same room where Jesus appeared, both before and after the resurrection. It was here that the Risen One made visible his wounds to see and touch, and the room where the faith of Thomas emerged. It is where the Risen Lord breathed on them the Holy Spirit “on the evening of that first day of the week” (John 20:19). It is where tongues of fire appeared to them on Pentecost and “they were all filled with the holy Spirit” (Acts 2:4). That event marks the birthday of the Church in the presence of our Blessed Mother (Acts 1:14). It is from there that the apostles went forth with boldness sharing the Good News.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

For those who have gone astray, that the Good Shepherd will lead them back to the righteous path:

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
(Isaiah 5:1-7)

6 Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any. 7 So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, ‘Look, for the past three years I have come to search for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Therefore cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

8 ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine. But if not, you can cut it down.’”

***********************,

Glory Be to the Father: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Fatima Prayer: “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy”.
