Thank you very much for your prayers about this case. I really hope his family and social service will be able to convince him to accept help before something really bad happens.

Bede, today they are discharging him to a rehab hospital. Even though my husband can talk and does not slur his words, his responses rarely have any connection to what you just said to him. In short, while he can answer questions such as “are you in pain” or “where do you hurt” and things like that, he can’t hold a discussion with anyone. When I asked him who the president of the country was, he said Ben Swaggert. So please pray that clears up, and that I am patient with him because the doctor said that even though it may clear up, when he will get tired or stressed, it may temporarily return. She likened his brain injury to a badly broken bone that heals but begins to ache when it gets damp or cold.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I really hope this situation will be solved soon. He has all the needed help easily accessible (he lives in Europe so socialized healthcare system etc) but until he refuses to enter a specific recovery program or something major happens to him there is nothing than can be done and winter is fast approaching.
