Just remember Aroosi, and everyone here, mostly people want someone with a listening heart to listen to them. When someone is emotionally distraught, that is not the time to be judgmental and critical and harsh. The damage you could do to a soul is great. You could cause a person to withdraw permanently.

One of the most asked questions I read when someone takes their own life is “Why didn’t they ask for help?” It never occurs to anyone that maybe they did ask for help - countless times - and either got brushed off or told off. Eventually, people stop asking for help simply because they can’t bear to be misunderstood and/or hurt anymore.

This experience has taught me a lot about how to treat others in the future. Maybe what I have written has been of help to some of you here too.

You are all very dear and genuine people and, from my heart, I thank you for all your prayers.

If I could be there with you at this very moment, I’d give you a very big tight hug and listen to all you’d have to say, and pray for/with you. Unfortunately, that’s quite impossible. Nonetheless, I’d still insist to continue to pray for you. I know one day (soon I hope), we’ll hear some good news from you telling us you’re in a much much better situation already; and when that time comes, we’ll lift our hearts in one accord, altogether praising and glorifying GOD for all the marvelous things He’s done for us.
