My very dear Bede, I wish I could give you that news, but I cannot. I am convinced he does not love me nor has he ever. It’s shameful the way he treats me after all I have done for him, more than anyone he’s ever known, including his mother.

Satan has a tighter grip on him than ever. He doesn’t want a priest and has no interest in anything Catholic.

I had hoped to win money to get away, but the most I do win is one or three dollars. If I cannot get the money to leave, there has to be a drastic change here in both of us. I’m starting to wonder if I am the one that has lost their mind.
My husband makes slow progress, but it is still not possible to have a serious conversation with him, or much of a conversation at all outside of small talk.
As I’ve said, with all of my prayers, and all of the prayers being offered for us, if this is help, I’d hate to see me without it.
God reward all of you for your continuing prayers on our behalf.
