For the health and guidance of our medical doctors, nursing and support staffs, that they will have the physical stamina to endure without ruining their own health; that an inexpensive cure will be
found to smite this terrible virus; that nursing staffs across the world receive the equipment that they and patients so desperately need; that all who are stricken will heal; that the souls of those who die as a result of the virus go directly to Heaven; that the families of the deceased be given the strength to keep on keeping on, and that families, businesses and countries rebound economically within a short time. Dear Mother Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, please intercede for us! O Lord, hear our prayers!

I have prayed:

1st decade of the Glorious mysteries for an urgent end to Covid 19 and for healing of the afflicted and conversion of sinners.

5th decade for CAF members and our intentions.

Day 3 of praymorenovenas.com, novena for an end to the Coronavirus.

Father in Heaven, have mercy on us and on the whole world. We come to you today with our fears and concerns – You know what’s in our hearts. We love You, trust You, we need You. We ask You to be with us. Stay with us. Help us through these times of uncertainty and sorrow.

We know you are the Divine Physician, the healer of all. And so we ask that you bring your loving and healing presence to all those who are sick and suffering right now. Please comfort them.

Please be with the grieving families of those who have passed away.

Please have mercy on those who have died, may they be with You in heaven.

Please stand at the side of all medical professionals who are putting themselves at risk while they work to bring healing to others.

Lord, we are scared and we are sorrowful. Please heal us. Send us your peace and overwhelming presence.

The Third Glorious Mystery – The Holy Spirit comes upon Mary and the Apostles”
  1. The apostles are gathered in the upper room where Jesus had held the Last Supper.
  2. They are persevering in prayer with Mary the Mother of Jesus.
  3. A sound comes from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it fills the whole house.
  4. The Holy Spirit descends on each of them in the form of tongues of fire.
  5. Filled with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are enlightened and strengthened to spread the Gospel.
  6. Having lost all fear of the Jewish leaders, the apostles boldly preach Christ crucified.
  7. The multitudes are confounded because every man hears them speak in his own tongue.
  8. The Holy Spirit comes upon the Infant Church never to leave it.
  9. That first day Peter goes forth to preach and baptizes three thousand.
  10. The feast of Pentecost is the birthday of the Church, for on that day it begins to grow.
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
