In a time of mass media and an agenda on their side to discredit religion and especially the Catholic Church, people often only hear one side of the story. Atheists get way more attention than theists, that is to say “positive” attention. (Meaning, if the Church gets a mention, it is usually with a negative touch)

Therefore, let us ask God that He might let Christ be reflected in and through the media, so that the world might see Him who is light. As the Synod of Bishops in Rome takes place, with the New Evangelization as a topic, let us include this also.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give is this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

O Blessed Mother, full of grace, point the world towards your Son Jesus Christ and show us His light. For He is with you, and you with Him ever since He was incarnate. Therefore as you presented Him in the Temple, present Him again to the people of this time. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!

Sancte Paule, ora pro nobis!
Sancte Francice, ora pro nobis!
Sancta Monica, ora pro nobis!
Sancte Thaddæe, ora pro nobis!
Sancte Dominice, ora pro nobis!

O, Lord, this like so many is such a worthy prayer as so many can be reached out through the media and too many people now are hearing lies. Please give us more truthful talented journalists and reliable believable news sources for the masses to read. Give the Catholic church some breaks and highlight some of the good that the church does now and has done in the past. Give the priests, nuns and religious in the church some good PR, let the true saints in the church now have their voices heard. I pray through Christ our lord. AMEN

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Remembering your intention in my daily prayers. God bless.

O God, the everlasting Creator of all things, remember that the souls of unbelievers were made by Thee and formed in Thine own image and likeness. Remember that Jesus, Thy Son, endured a most bitter death for their salvation. Permit not, I beseech Thee, O Lord, that Thy Son should be any longer despised by unbelievers, but do Thou graciously accept the prayers of holy men and of the Church, the Spouse of Thy most holy Son, and be mindful of Thy mercy. Forget their idolatry and unbelief, and grant that they too may some day know Him whom Thou hast sent, even the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Salvation, our Life and Resurrection, by whom we have been saved and delivered, to whom be glory for endless ages. Amen.

Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

**O Blessed Archangel Gabriel,
we beseech thee,
do thou intercede for us
at the throne of Divine Mercy
in our present necessities,
that as thou didst announce to Mary
the mystery of the Incarnation,
so through thy prayers
and patronage in heaven
we may obtain the benefits of the same,
and sing the praise of God forever
in the land of the living.

Amen.**
