I was just going to ask the OP if this Judaism thread is open to all topics regarding Judaism, but the user has been banned…

So, I shall ask my question & perhaps someone will answer.

Is this thread a “general” thread to ask questions about Judaism… or is it “topic” only based on the OP…

The point about the original thread was that Valke was both willing and able to take the time to answer, as well as he was able (ie pretty well!), whatever sparked anybody’s interest.

Having been ‘board Jew’ in the past (elsewhere), I know just how time-consuming all that can be and I don’t think the few of us around have the time or inclination to get that involved.

I have no idea what you posted, so I’ll just take it as “no” that is this is not a 'general" thread about Judaism. Thanks!

Sorry to have been obtuse - the original thread 'Let’s Talk Judaism! was posted by Valke who was a Jewish poster who did a very good job (on numerous other threads as well) of putting the Jewish position on lots of things.

This is thread (2), the problem is that there’s no Valke around.
