So, the other thread was an epic failure. I’m sure it was all my fault…sorry.

So, I’ll make amends and start a new thread to praise the women in our lives. Contrary to what some of you may think at this point, I have no issue doing that.

I’ll start…

I have to say that my wife is probably the most amazing woman I have ever known. She absolutely loves the job of wife and mother. I can’t imagine anyone out there being better at raising kids than her. She stays home with our 3 every day and sometimes babysits two others. She is pregnant with our 4th, and just like the other three times, she is a very happy, joyful pregnant woman. She takes good care of our house, does an excellent job budgeting our money so we can afford to live on only my income, is an incredible cook, and she’s pretty darn good at some other things I am not going to get in to on here. I give her as much help as I possibly can and she is grateful for it always and understands when I can’t do more. We have known each other since we were teenagers and have been together for almost 9 yrs now, married 6 of them. I cannot imagine what my life would be like without her. I love her more than anything on this earth and I do my best to let her know it whenever I get the chance. She allows me the freedom to be myself and be comfortable with that around her. She understands me and knows how to rein me in when I start to get too stressed out. She is the best kisser I know of and even after 3 kids, she’s drop dead gorgeous. She is really my greatest blessing in my life. I could go on for days about how awesome she is, but I just don’t have the time. I am so proud to call her my wife. Not every guy gets this lucky, that is for sure!

So let’s hear about your women…

Speaking positively about women?

How dare you, you radical feminist!!!

I didn’t see the other thread but maybe it would be better not to refer to a human being as “your woman” as if someone owned her.

Your wife is not YOUR woman, either.

How about this, get her in the thread and let her speak for herself.

Geez. I didn’t say Your Woman. That has a completely different connotation.

Let’s reword that to:

The special women in your life

Why do you want to hear from her? You think she’d say somethink different?

I’m sure OP meant it in a nicer way. You could just think of it as “the women in your life,” as that probably hits his meaning well. Plus, when man and wife are joined they become “one flesh” so in a sense it is appropriate. No, there’s no “ownership” involved but there’s certainly a oneness to marriage. 🙂

OP: Excellent “save” from the other thread and a wonderful way to recognize how special your wife is!!

This was lovely, and quite a change from when we first met you. I mean on your wife’s part. You obviously loved her then as much as you do now.

:aok::yyeess:❤️

It is what I was going to type before I got so distracted on the other thread.

Trying to make it right here in this one…

ok write this all down or print it and put it some where she will find it when your at work. you’ll come home to a very happy wife who missed you. also play her the song from
Brad Paisley “Shes Everthing…” I know its kinda cheesy but I love it when my husband writes loves notes and picks out songs.

Things are certainly much better now than they were then, there is no doubt. And there has been a lot of change on my part as well.👍
