Once again Davids grades are a problem. He currently has a D in simulations ( which is a course from his chosen major!) and a c- in physiology . I can’t understand that boy but it is really worrying to me. If he were to get separated they would put him in the enlisted Army as a private, right in the middle of the bad stuff going on in this world right now and he wouldn’t even have the benefit of a college degree! So once again I need you to pray with me for him . I’m going to pray for academic success and a change in his attitude so that he starts to actually study and retain the information rather than try to cram for tests and do poorly. Niki could also do with continued prayer for physics and history. Sam is doing well tho.

PLEASE PRAY HIM.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying that the Lord may grant all necessary graces to David and Niki for their studies.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

A Student’s Prayer to St. Joseph

Father Joseph, you taught Jesus how to work and play,
help us to realise that we can only gain knowledge
by listening and learning.
With you to help and guide us we pray,
O Saint Joseph, that we will choose the right path
and will remain faithful to the teachings of Jesus.

Amen.

Thanks so much for praying with me for David Niki and Sam. Much appreciated.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Prayer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton:

O Father, the first rule of our dear Savior’s life
was to do Your Will.
Let His Will of the present moment
be the first rule of our daily life and work,
with no other desire
but for its most full and complete accomplishment.
Help us to follow it faithfully,
so that doing what You wish
we will be pleasing to You.

Amen.

St. Michael, archangel, defend them and us in battle, and may God rebuke all unclean spirits. Amen.

St. Ignatius of Loyola, patron of soldiers, come to the aid of David.

**O Mary, conceived without sin,
Co-Redemptrix, willing participant in Jesus’ great work of salvation,
teach us to work with Him for the salvation of our neighbour.
Pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

O Mary, conceived without sin,
Mediatrix of all graces and mother of every soul,
let the graces we receive through your hands
be met with profound gratitude and sincere cooperation.
Pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

O Mary, conceived without sin,
Advocate for the people of God,
from the moment of the Annunciation until the end of time,
lift up our deeply wounded world to God’s merciful love.
Pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

Amen.**
