It’s my understanding that, like with any major leader, he has a multilingual staff who reads and sorts mail into categories, like prayer requests, etc. A few pieces are selected to actually be given to the Pope to read and respond to.

To encourage him to keep shielding and reappointing cardinals who were defrocked? cardinals who were accused and still brought back only to be indicted by secular courts? To give vague responses to important questions?

That’s what I imagined, thanks again I appreciate your (name removed by moderator)ut

No, maybe TB’s letter would be to tell the pope that there are people in his flock that don’t believe everything the secular media “reports” ; that there are those in the flock that aren’t ready to hang the entire magisterium based on hearsay or emotional hysteria, that there are those in the flock that aren’t willing to draw and quarter those who are simply “accused” and that in the laity, we still believe in innocent until proven guilty. That not every Catholic is a “chicken little” clone who believes the church is absolutely corrupt and degenerate; the Catholic Church, the one Christ promised the gates of hell will not prevail against, will survive this mess with proper guidance. Maybe TB’s letter would encourage him to establish better and stronger ways to make sure this mess will never happen again. Maybe…?

I think we are past such letters if encouragement. The secular media are calling this a conservative plot against the progressive pope. Not all in the church are corrupt obviously. But to have this level of abuse unchecked for decades and the people who conveyed it up shows a much deeper level of evil within the church than what we know. The infiltration of communists and homosexuals in the church is well documented and even acknowledged by pope Benedict himself. We just want the pope and all his 'trusted ’ advisors such as mccarrick to be held responsible. That’s all.

It was checked in 2002. You might want to actually look at the history of the problem and the action put in place (at least by the U.S. bishops) to rectify and address and hopefully eliminate the problem. As to the pope, I guess nothing is going to satisfy the “chicken little” Catholics until he is hung by his neck until dead??

Then why was mccarrick still around ? Those were you’re violent words about the pope …not mine.

I came here to post this exact thing. I’m pleased to see someone already has. I hope we can continue to share this and get more signatures. It is time we stand up and do what we can to make a difference.
