Letting Children pick their religion

I believe you can raise any Christian child with the truth (10 commandments, apostles creed, classic Bible readings, etc) And then let them explore denominations as they grow older and curious. I find that a good thing. In teaching both Lutheran and Catholic schools I can tell you (and this is only anecdotal) that my students in a local Lutheran school know far more about Catholicism than the Catholic students do about Protestantism and my Lutheran kids seem more encouraged to explore other denominations more and at an earlier age. I’ve seen nothing but positives come from it.
