Then why did they go into such detail when describing these creatures appearances, and physical attributes? Job, chpter 41 goes extremely in depth, and if it was supposed to be symbolic or a metaphor, why describe in such detail, the particulars about their bodies, tails, eyes, mouths, ‘defensive plates and spikes’ in various places? This is a CLEAR physical description of something they saw in real life, they did not have the word ‘dinosaur’ to let others know what they meant, they had to come up with words to best fit what they were seeing.

But it all boils down to the fact that God can do ANYTHING, he can create ANYTHING, we already know he created dinosaurs, we know they were massive (some of them anyway), its not a stretch imo to suggest some of these creatures also existed along side mankind, and really makes no difference either way, they are just another animal God created.

I know the physical description of the Minotaur, mermaids, and sirens. Make them any less symbolic or metaphoric in Greek culture? Are you denying that Semitic cultures have imagination?

Yes, God can do and create anything, which attests to the behemoth and the leviathan. Does not mean they are literal.

OK. It doesn’t say that its tail is tall like a cedar, or wide like a cedar, just that it carries its tail like a cedar. Having a “short little tail” doesn’t make the text untrue…

It is not necessarily something they actually saw in real life. The Bible has horses that say “Aha!” when they sense that they are ready to go into battle and these are described in detail - their sweat, muscles, hooves, etc.

All of the parts of the body have a literal sense and spiritual senses. Scales, fire, eyes, tail… all have literal and spiritual senses. That is how they wrote. That is how the Bible is interpreted - the literal sense first and then the spiritual senses.
