A collective of religious leaders from small & dying communities. Their combined voice carries less weight than a few Pentecostal pastors.

If anyone is truly interested in learning about the shoes in which others walk, I did just want to stop back to post this story I found about one of the above mentioned clergyman. Rev Jones’ walk, including his relationship with PP, is detailed here. Perhaps the others share similar experiences within their faith walks. So I realize no one else might but I at least found it of some help in understanding his journey.

What I can’t understand is why liberal clergy would take this opportunity to praise PP. PP made a mistake. A really big mistake. Even if you have no problem with selling the body parts of aborted fetuses you *should *be upset that PP has kept this practice hushed and is trying to cover up their mistake. You should be upset that they launched a false flag operation on their website to drum up sympathy. You should be upset that Planned Parenthood is trying to turn a profit on the business of human suffering.

Hi, while I was back here just to post Reverend Jones’ story, I did just happen to catch this one particular post and since I was here, I don’t think it hurts if we were to take a breath and wait and see how the facts end up playing out.

I thought this being a non Catholic subforum, it was where respectful discussion could take place about the views of both the Catholic faith and those of other faiths. And we could learn about others. But I do see there doesn’t seem to me to be much interest on this thread in doing that so maybe I was wrong. And sorry if in doing so I offended anyone.

What is there to discuss? Planned Parenthood is a demonic organization. And just because this is the “non-Catholic” sub forum doesn’t mean any one has the right to defend/justify/make excuses for such a heinously evil group without expecting to be challenged. Human reason alone without the aid of revelation is enough to make this known.

I know some of the clergy on that list, SyNoe, and they are fine men and women of God. This IS the non Catholic sub forum, and there ARE people of faith who hold strong beliefs about this issue.

SyNoe, thank you for at least trying to present another side to this with some integrity.

In what way is supporting the murder of innocent lives and then the harvesting and selling off of the HUMAN remains showing integrity?!

There is no conservative or liberal side to this debate, there is however a RIGHT and WRONG side in this debate.

As you’re an Anglican, I presume you are probably familiar with the works of C.S. Lewis.

If you already have “Mere Christianity”, reread it NOW and pay particular attention to what he said about Christian teaching–what it IS and what it is NOT.

If you haven’t already read or have it. . .**get it, read it, and think long and hard about it. He has some pretty strong imagery about people who THINK they are upholding morality while they’re really tearing it down. **
 
Even in the mind of Christians and Jews who question when life begins, there should be “reasonable doubt.” We give that privilege to accused murders, how can the not extend reasonable doubt to the question of "when life begins to the unborn?
