P.

I don’t want to die. I don’t want these babies to die. But until we stop dying and until we stop aborting our babies, we should offer up our dead or dying flesh to help others. There is nothing noble or Christ like in allowing the sick to suffer in order to satisfy our own sensibilities. Innocents suffering from disease are no less of a concern than innocent fetuses. That’s because Catholics do not judge or pick/choose which innocents are more important. We’re not God. To let both suffer due to our need to engage in power plays is just plain sinful
The above reminds me of the following twitter exchange:

Abortion is still legal in the great U.S of A. It would be insane not to use fetal tissue 4 science & education in such cases. #StandwithPP Sarah Silverman

Killing Jews was legal in Nazi Germany. It would have been insane not to use their skin for lamps. Ben Sapiro

The idea that opposing the selling of aborted children as sinful is one of the most ludicrous things I’ve ever heard

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Matthew 24:36)

I’ll ask my priest to double check, but it looks like God the Father is a pro-choice Hindu that likes to spend time on internet forums.
It is one of the strangest things I’ve ever run across in these forums. A person who claims to be a Hindu lecturing Christians on the imminent second coming of Jesus Christ

“Thus I clothe my naked villany with old odd ends, stolen forth from holy writ, and seem a saint when I most play the devil.”

If I were to be executed, I’d want my flesh to be used to help others, no matter if I was Jewish captive, a fetus or whatever. There have been a fair number of executed criminals in the US who have graciously given up their bodies or organs upon death. The twitter exchange is the most ludicrous thing I’ve heard in a long time. There is a huge difference in offering up your body to save others (in the image of Christ) and using your flesh for lamp shades.

Do what you want re donating your body parts for research. However, don’t assume you have the right to speak for the unborn or all the Jews executed and others how obnoxious and clueless!

How is it that people have gotten to such a stage where they can accept the apparent ‘inevitable’ murder of these children in their mothers wombs, that they could even discuss this?

The twitter exchange is not ludicrous at all, instead of lamp shades, a more apt comparison would be the medical experiments they conducted on the Jews (In which advanced medicine a great deal).

In fact, I was watching a documentary the other day on the Doctor’s in Auschwitz (Nazi Germany camp made famous because of the atrocities committed there) Where one Doctor said exactly that, “It would be mad not to conduct medical experiments on the Jews who are going to be gassed anyway.” And hence justified further atrocities while also providing further incentive to continue the atrocities.

One such experiment, was one former prisoner there telling of how they would continually take blood from her to see how long it would be before she died or how long someone could survive on low levels of blood and that’s not even the half of it, not to mention that medicine today in this regard owes a great deal to those experiments.

It’s one thing to turn a blind eye to Abortion, it’s another level again to turn a blind eye because one even has the audacity to profit of it.

I hope this has helped

God Bless & God have mercy on us.

Thank you for reading

Still, the Nazi doctors’ experiments were conducted on Jews who were not yet gassed. IOW, they were still alive and that constitutes torture. I’m not condoning abortion on demand for any reason, but let’s get the comparison right.

Using human fetal tissue to save lives is not exactly the equivalent of using human tissue to make lamp shades and soap. I am not pro-abortion for any (frivolous) reason, but there is a difference here. Now, if the Nazis used dead human tissue from Jews and others to save people’s lives, then we might talk comparisons to using human fetal issue to save lives.

True, however the reasoning behind doing it was the same, and the analogy is apt all but ‘torture’.

Okay.

I just can’t believe the audacity that people could in some way try to justify the crime of Abortion because of how some are profiting of it.

God Bless You

That’s true. I can’t speak for all the unborn, the Jewish captives or anyone else for that matter. Not everyone has the desire or inclination to sacrifice in the name of Christ. We see many examples everyday of people who are selfish and who are very protective of their freedom to ignore the suffering of others. You’re right. I can’t speak for them.

Are you for real?!?

Jewish law has no problems with organ donation when one is still alive for the purpose of saving another person’s life. This is one of the highest blessings. But after death, if the organs are not GUARANTEED to be used to save human life, but instead end up being discarded, there is a problem, although if the guarantee is given, organ donation trumps the law that requires intact burial. However, more important, if the organ needs to be harvested while the dying person’s heart is still beating (even though they are medically brain dead), that constitutes murder according to Jewish law, which, contrary to medicine, still defines life based on the heart rather than the brain. There may be ways around this, however. So you see it is not necessarily a matter of selfishness but instead practicing the Law for the benefit of all.

Except these children are not offering up their bodies. They are being butchered on the altar of choice It is despicable that people would use their remains for any reason

One you accept the slaughter as ok what difference does it make what the parts are used for? I can not believe anyone defends this. It is an indication of how degraded our culture is.

As charitably as I can I must say that this is one of the most disturbing posts I’ve seen on these forums, particularly from someone who claims to be Catholic. There is nothing remotely Christ-like in the actions of an abortionist and there is no redeeming action that can be taken regarding the use of the pitiful child’s corpse and organs even if they were used to save a thousand lives.

To echo your previous post…Amen. You said it better than I could.

Peace, Mark***
