) that we have an NO (thoses filled with abuse, not those said correctly) so we can recognize a proper liturgy.
Perhaps we can even subsitute recognize with appreciate.
Yep… it is scriptural. We have the wrong, so we can recognize the right. We have the lies, so we can recognize the Truth. We have the sinners, so we might recognize the Sinless.

the terms liberal and conservative are subjective and don’t help us make a meaningful judgement. A better question is something that can be tested objectively, like “dissenting priest”, “heretical priest”, “abusive priest”. They are here because the Church is holy in her founder and head, Jesus Christ, but composed of sinful human beings, all sinful and prideful in their own way, just as Jesus told us when he reminded us that the healthy do not need physicians, the sick do, and that he came to call sinners, not the righteous. They are hear because our adversary prowls through the world like a lion seeking whom he may devour.
