Good question. I think the joys of eating, drinking, sleeping, etc. would still be available for those who desire them, but we will be relieved of the hassle (i.e. laborious effort required) to obtain them. In other words: there would be abundance.
“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”
Assuming man’s destiny is to fill the cosmos and explore creation, there are many unanswered questions.
The one that is interesting to me is that Jesus tends to seemingly appear in random places and out-of-nowhere after the Resurrection. Unless I’m mistaken, we will have a similar nature with our glorified bodies in which we can in an essence teleport. If that’s the case, our day-to-day life will be drastically changed.
I don’t know how our eating and drinking habits/requirements will change beyond eliminating the time required to travel for it. Heck, I could just appear in front of your fridge if I have a hankering for something.
This is one of the mysteries of the faith; we don’t know. What we do know is that it will be far better than we can possibly imagine, since we will always be with God, who we are innately drawn toward.
