Life Chain anyone?

Anyone else going to a Life Chain tomorrow? It will be my first one. And the pro-life club from my son’s high school will be there too. 👍
 
Yes there will be 4 generations of my family going. My dad, my sis, her daughter, & her grandkids (ages 4,5, & one on the way). We went last year & it was wonderful.
 
Yep, I’ll out at ours with the kids. My wife has a bridal shower to go to, so I’ll be ‘baching’ it 🙂
 
Our event was a “Respect Life Walk” downtown, led by our bishop, saying the Rosary. I think we had about 100 people. It was very nice.

We just got back. It was pouring when we left the house so we packed ponchos and umbrellas. But it cleared up just before start time. We had many more people than I expected; I’d say about a hundred lining both sides of the street. As I said, this was my first one and I was quite impressed.

Oh, and only positive honks and 👍 from the passing cars. No heckeling at all.

I went to one nearby. I had decided to go to one as a penance for an awful week I had. I’d never wanted to go to one, and it was a very uncomfortable experience. I don’t do well with controversy in real life, and I have a really difficult time making people angry or upset, and dealing with their response. We had 3 hecklers; one just booed, and two others who wanted to know who was going to take care of all the babies. Even though there were only three, I couldn’t stay for the whole thing. I left after 45 minutes.
 
I organized the one in my city. It went pretty well. It threatened rain the whole time but thankfully held off until the last 5 minutes. We got mostly positive feedback from the passing cars, but we did get one man that drove by and said something awful which I won’t repeat here. Overall though I thought it went well.
