Bkl,
Jesus also said, “Admonish the sinner.” I wonder how that squares with the views expressed by Irishgirl?
I would imagine that would depend on whether she is Northern, Southern, or other?

Do you know if a couple had a child? Just curious, because here in NYC, it is illegal to be in a children’s playground if you are not accompanied by a child. No joke–my wife has seen people kicked out by the police. They do this to keep drunks and vagrants out, but it could apply here as well.He wasn’t equating it with acts of violence, he was just showing how morality is absolute.
On another note, yes, this stuff needs to stop. Once I saw a pair of “lesbians” feeling each other up at a kids’ water playground. The reason for the quotation marks is that one of them was not always(ahem) a woman, as far as I could tell by her/his face.
On another note, I don’t want to give the non-New Yorkers a bad view of the city. I have also seen people on the train preach the Gospel. Also, it is true that there is a church on almost “every block,” if you have heard the saying. And if you go in, you will see people in prayer. The church near my work (close to WTC) can get pretty crowded at the afternoon lunchtime Mass.Of course you got a disdainful look. Remember when the St. Patrick’s Day parade was protested by the Irish Queers? Remember when naked men and women from the group Stonewall marched in an illegal parade in from of St. Patrick’s Cathedral yelling, “F— you!” to people on the steps? Many of these people are just loathesome and love to mock the faith (along with others, I am not singling them out).
Now, as someone else said, if this is the worst you experienced in NYC, consider yourself lucky. I travel the trains everyday to and from work and have seen much worse.![]()
Very quite possibly…Bkl,
I would imagine that would depend on whether she is Northern, Southern, or other?
