I’m talking about homosexual acts in general, not only what occurred on the train. AIDS, STDs, destroyed muscles that lead to needing colostomy bags…How is nuzzling and sleeping in someone’s arms physically risky?

That is neither here nor there, what is being discussed is two guys doing PDAs.I’m talking about homosexual acts in general, not only what occurred on the train. AIDS, STDs, destroyed muscles that lead to needing colostomy bags…
Oh wow, you must have some nerve to make that post after mine… after I just dispelled some common misconceptions about the GREAT STATE OF ALABAMA!!!Sweetie, you are so funny! Wecome to the modern age of tollerance and enlightenment. You remind me of my 88 year old grandmother. That is so funny that you would be supprised by a gay couple showing affection. lol You must be visiting from Alabamastan.

Because it always stops at PDAs, right? I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree, because I feel it’s relevant. That is neither here nor there, what is being discussed is two guys doing PDAs.
I did not assert that. We are talking about public PDAs that bothered the OP, whether the people later engage in sex is irrelevant to those public PDAs. Regardless, this behaviour does not belong in confined space regardless of the parties’ sexes. Not all gays engage in anal sex and lesbian don’t really do it so risky behaviour doesn’t necessarily apply.Because it always stops at PDAs, right? That is life. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, you have to learn to deal with it. Your body shape may make someone feel uncomfortable. If you feel uncomfortable, move on. The risk of sex is there for gay, straight and bi-sexual people. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable that is smoking, look away or move to a different location. But you should ask yourself what you are uncomfortable with. The real answer is your inability to accept people who have a different lifestyle than yours. Now that is really sad. This comes across, and was presumably intended as, patronizing and ridiculing. It really doesn’t add anything to the conversation. People of all ages from children on up feel uncomfortable by being forced to witness what should be private moments.
What is tolerant and enlightened about applauding or encouraging or accepting behavior that is physically risky to the participants? Why aren’t we considered ‘hateful’ and intolerant for waging war against smoking?
Do you accept the lifestyle of pedohpiles? That is life. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, you have to learn to deal with it. Your body shape may make someone feel uncomfortable. They might spread gay cooties! Those Alabama boys don’t want their young’uns to catch it. lolHow is nuzzling and sleeping in someone’s arms physically risky?
It is always funny how haters always equate a consensual relationships to acts of violence. The last desperate grab for a straw. How sad. What is evil is subjective.Do you accept the lifestyle of pedohpiles?
Do you accept the lifestyle of rapists?
Good and evil are NOT subjective
Your point? It is always funny how haters always equate a consensual relationships to acts of violence. The last desperate grab for a straw. How sad. What is evil is subjective.
I wasn’t equating consent with relativism.Consent is not a relativist farce. It is actually an important ingredient in any relationship. Without it, a relationship is wrong.
…On another note, yes, this stuff needs to stop. Once I saw a pair of “lesbians” feeling each other up at a kids’ water playground. The reason for the quotation marks is that one of them was not always(ahem) a woman, as far as I could tell by her/his face.
Actually, if I had to choose whom to sit next to on a train, it would be the guys engaged in PDA, if the other choice was a chain smoker.Do you accept the lifestyle of pedohpiles?
Do you accept the lifestyle of rapists?
Good and evil are NOT subjective
Saph,You have the right to that opinion too.
However, you’re going to have to accept the fact that gay marriage is the reality of this country. As is secularism and reproductive control. That is the world we live in.
I edited because I realized I originally used the word “Reality” twice
Of course you got a disdainful look. Remember when the St. Patrick’s Day parade was protested by the Irish Queers? Remember when naked men and women from the group Stonewall marched in an illegal parade in from of St. Patrick’s Cathedral yelling, “F— you!” to people on the steps? Many of these people are just loathesome and love to mock the faith (along with others, I am not singling them out).Yesterday I was on the train, and directly across from was a gay couple. The men were entwined in each other’s arms. One had his hand on the other’s thigh. They took turns nuzzling each other.
I did everything I could to not look at them. I looked at the train ads and read them over and over. I looked to my left and two my right, every now and then sneaking a glance at them. Now grant you I was wearing my crucifix. I could see them sneaking glances at me too. Did I imagine a look of defiance?
Finally one of them went to sleep in the arms of the other.
I tried so hard to maintain a neutral expression on my face but I couldn’t help but think that just 5 years ago, they would not be so openly affectionate.
I was relieved when I got off the train. I had to transfer to another train, and that involved going up a staircase. As I got to the top of the staircase, I saw a female, gay couple. They were french kissing at the top of the stairs.
My how bold we’ve become.
Is this the world we have to look forward to?
How many of you have experienced anything like this in your face homosexuality?
Irish,I am shocked by the original post. Didn’t Jesus say, “Love thy neighbour as thyself”.
No one likes to witness huge PDA’s in either hetero or homosexual couples, but your wrath for merely the fact that they are homosexual is, in my opinion, excessive.
Why not preach love rather than inciting hateful comments?
Irish,
You quote Jesus. Is this because you know of this passage or you believe all that Jesus taught? Please let me know.
You say that there is wrath for homosexuals and I see that you appear to believe that homosexuality is acceptable. Describe the wrath. Is homosexuality an approved behavior for you?
You say preach love. What is it you believe that love is? Define love.
