Reminds me of a joke. I hope this doesn’t get me banned. In a small, one-room schoolhouse somewhere in the Appalachians, they are conjugating verbs:

I’m a-fixin to,
You’re a-fixin’ to,
He’s a-fixin’ to,
We’re a-fixin’ to,
Y’all’s a-fixin’ to,
They’re a-fixin’ to.

I either use or hear at least one of those conjugations daily. And I live in a major suburb outside of Atlanta. But we aren’t so formal and drop the “a” before fixin’🙂
