My brother, who semi-retired down to southern Texas four years ago, posted this on his FB page with the note that it was in the mid-40s there, and he was getting strange looks from his neighbors because he was outside making something on the grill –

– in his shirtsleeves.

Texans are wimps. 😒
 
From the official Woody Woodpecker YouTube page. This video is 42 minutes long. I didn’t check to see what cartoons are in the full video, but the first one is the Andy Panda cartoon “Knock Knock”, where Woody made his debut. The first ever Woody laugh is at around 1:25.

 
There’s a baseball team in Winnipeg, Canada called the Goldeyes, currently in the independent American Association, and their stadium used to have an Asian bistro called “Hu’s on First”.
