I had an at-home sleep study. I checked out the equipment after a short instructional class, and it wasn’t all that cumbersome: an elastic band with a small monitor around my chest, another around my stomach, an oxygen sensor clipped to my nostrils, and a pulse oximeter on my finger, all wired to a little machine. I brought it back the next day, and it turns I did have mild sleep apnea. Now I have my very own APAP machine.
