Lord God,
Please grant Bruce the graces of happiness. Help him see the world through a different set of eyes that helps reveal the goodness in everything. Help Bruce accept that life is hard and there is bad in the world, but please help him know that there is just as much…or more goodness. Thank you, God. I love You.

O gracious Lord Jesus Christ,
though I, who am a sinner,
in nowise presume on any merits of my own,
and put all my trust in Thy goodness and mercy,
yet do I fear and tremble in drawing near to the Table

Bruce, I’m sorry you’re going though this right now. I have suffered something similar recently that lasted for some time. I can’t stress enough the importance of the Sacraments. If you haven’t been to Reconciliation in a while, please give it a try. Scrubbing that soul clean makes a wonderful difference, and helps to see other things in a little clearer perspective. That prepares you to receive the Eucharist, which is invaluable. If you can, please try to receive it daily or as frequently as it is available to you in your area. Jesus loves you and wants you to come to Him in your need. :console:

Lord, please bless this child of yours, and grant him the graces only You know he needs. Grant that he seek You at all times, and accept your will in all things. Give him hope and perseverance.

Yes, it can be. While I’ll not state my own situation here, I can certainly relate to your statement, “Each day is such a struggle and seems to be endless in its lack of joy.”.
Please, keep the Faith, brother! Eternity with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is much better than any alternantive!

Loving Father, look down on Bruce with your loving care. Make within him known your love and peace. May Bruce be able to live his days with hope, that with you by his side, he will know that nothing is impossible for a better tomorrow.

Thanks to all for your very kind prayers and intentions. I know that they are helping in ways I do not yet realize or feel in my life — hopefully soon! I pray a prayer of thanksgiving for each of you.
