On the one hand, God gave us free will to choose our own life path; on the other hand, God give us grace to direction to salvation. So, all life paths should lead to salvation if we place our trust in God and follow the religious path He sets out in front of us. .

God gives us free will, but He knows what we’ll do, because He is omniscient. He doesn’t tell us what to do, but He knows exactly which path we’ll choose.

Our life path should lead us back to God. That is His will for all those He created. We are His children and He wants us to spend eternity with Him.
However He gave us the gift of free will so that we might express our love for Him. Will we choose His way or will we choose our way? And when we DO chose to go our own way (which happens too often), are we willing to admit the error of our ways and then go His way?
God will never mess with our free will. We can chose Him or not. But if you open the door to Him just a little bit, He will come in. Otherwise, He stands at the door and knocks (and knocks and knocks).
