Still jog hunting, getting close to a year since last job but for now have welfare. Not sure how my DSL is still connected. I can’t pay right now and still need to figure out how to get that caught up.

I have to go to HEAP yet, call about getting a provider for health I think and waiting to hear from a job I applied to that two old co–workers are at… To add a catch, walking home yesterday from the store I managed to trip on something (uneven sidewalks or just a klutz) and hit my eyebrow area on (I assume) the sidewalk. I now can barely keep that eye open, have to force it… yes put ice on it last night. I look like I was either beat up or kissed the pavement. Not good appearance for if I get an interview real soon… which I don’t even remember when the last one was…

Praying for work soon, for my eye to not look so hideous. It was the eyebrow above the better of the two eyes… the other one needs more surgery someday (or just deal with it. I can’t read too well out of the one and can barely keep the good eye open right now. It is a bit funny but it’s frustrating too.

Roza,

That really stinks! Hitting your eye on the sidewalk does not sound pleasant at all - you poor thing! 😦 BUT - hang in there. I will pray for your situation: that you get a job FAST, that our Lord heals your eye(s), and that He grants you the grace to undergo this most difficult trial in your life. May God have mercy on you and bless you!

Much love,
Judi

Hi Roza , I’m sorry to read about your many problems you’re passing through .
I hope you’ll find some comfort in the prayers for you , I’ll add you to my Rosary prayer intention and other novenas .
Father I lift up Roza up to You in prayer. I pray that You heal her eyes and give her good health , grant her a good opportunity for an interview and help her to start working again .
In Jesus Holy Name , though intercession of Saint Joseph , Amen

I know it’s a blessing that this happened after the cataract/vitrectomy had been done in my right eye. It needs more work someday as the layer over the retina is damaged so things look wavy and warped in it but it’s a thousand times better than it was when I still had hemorrhaging blood vessels in it. Had this happened during the decade I couldn’t see out of my right eye (except for a blob) I’d really have problems right now as I can barely open the other eye.

(I believe God has a sense of humor, I hope that sounds ok. I’m reminded about things I’ve been listening too, Jesus’ hand in one hand and Blessed Virgin Mary’s in the other… perhaps I need to be praying that before I literally go walking outside! Keep offering it up to the Lord and to remember to thank God for all things. I need to not be so nervous and worried. Yes, a 41 year old needing to learn how to walk yet. 😛

Thank you Jesus, I know I’m not in this all alone!

Praying for your happiness, peace of mind and success in finding a good job!

May Jesus bless you and help you in this difficult time. God the father God the son and God the Holy spirit may you reign upon your child and help in his most desperate time amen.

Prayed a decade of today’s Rosary for your intentions, Roza…

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 45 (46)
God, our refuge and our strength

The Lord is our refuge and our strength, a true help in our troubles.
Therefore we do not fear, even when the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the depths of the sea,
the waves roar and foam and rise up to shake the mountains.

The streams of the river give joy to the city of God, the holy dwelling-place of the Most High.
God is within it, it will not be shaken; God will give help as the day dawns.
The nations are in turmoil and kingdoms totter: at the sound of his voice, the earth flows like water.

The Lord of strength is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Come and see the works of the Lord, who has done wonders on the earth.
He puts an end to wars over all the world: he tramples the bow, shatters weapons, and burns the shields with fire.
Stop and see that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.

The Lord of strength is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
