Lord, Please Have Mercy on Chaz. Although he understands that the ground needs to be watered so that his roots may grow, a little sunshine in his life wouldn’t hurt once in a while. In Jesus Name, Amen. :byzsoc:

i was in electrical engg. but facing difficulties :eek: in completion and having backpapers...have prayed hard 2 God these past 3 yrs to study and have success in life...have had my share of ' bad luck ' be it losing my purse and my savings of the previous 2 years, the refusal of my bike(had major repairs but later found out, it had inferior spare parts installed & the service centre closed with no way of compensation) to start on the day of interview and thereby being late (had to catch 3 buses to arrive there with one of them being the wrong one) and called 'ineffective'...being put down in front of many prof. by a teacher, i considered a role model, in the faculty room...made fun of my views on life & God in front of the whole class...college friends who seek only profit from you not friendship etc etc etc...
These ’ Bad Luck ’ still do occur but i know something else too : God was there behind the scenes jus having a chuckle hoping that i would grow tougher and come more closer to him…Which I did & still do, cause as probs increased, so did my visit to the adoration chapel, prayers did not help me in removing the problems, rather it just gave me the strength to know that God Knows and that HE is in control of my life…So then why the worry…Why the FEAR…

Right now am so happy, of all that has happened in my life…Things have changed in ways that can’t be explained here…All these years were God helping me tune to life the way He knows is right 4 me…

My buddy advice 👍: Give in EVERYTHING, ur life, aspirations, problems to God…Forget about FEAR ( now i know it was useless) but just make sure that whatever you do ( and failed terribly ) you do 100%…The outcome being God’s plan not ours…Cheerio buddy 😉

Wow that’s the best advice I’ve had yet, thanks! I’m studying Computer Engineering which is basically the brother of EE as half of my courses was and is with EE majors. So hard, I’m a computer nerd but I guess I have to learn the fundamentals as well. Seems like us Engineers have it hard while the other liberal arts and non-science majors party every other night like there’s no tomorrow. Trust me I have witnessed plenty of it to say that claim accurately hoping not to offend anyone on here who has a liberal arts degree. I’m sure at notorious liberal arts schools they have it pretty hard as well, just not at mine. Ironically shortly after my last post the other day I watched the nightly news and it said in a new study that about 50% of college students contemplate suicide at some point during their 4 or 5 years.

Even as these things happen, I do look and say to myself well… I am healthy and alive as well as my loved ones close to me and I think that is what matters most in most people’s lives and some people aren’t so fortunate in that aspect which is much worse.

I ought to say at least half of my 50% of my recent misery is a combination of our beloved government and pure bad luck in 3 separate occasions over a span of 12 weeks and high fines to go with it however the first one was just losing my summer job early by working too hard for the government as a temp and consequently losing 1/3 of the income that was said I would receive and that I really did need to carry me through school on my own without my parent’s aid. 👍 The latter 2 cases I could have paid with less fuss if I hadn’t lost my job early.

I guess in the end money is money and even if I pay them all I have to the last penny I shouldn’t dispair…render to Caesar 🙂

I’d just have to find a way off everything free or affordable.

I agree with what your saying and it’s what my heart kept saying but I guess I just needed someone to relate to as well and have made it out happily to assure me the grass gets greener eventually. That is the only hope I can hold on to as my biggest fear is it progressively leading to more devastating things, loss of loved ones ect. Don’t want to think about that:(
