What a guy!
So I need to constantly be in relationship, in communion. I can’t afford to have thoughts in my brain that aren’t in God’s Heart. I need to have the same thoughts that God thinks about me, inside of me on a constant basis, and the best way to do that is communion with the Holy Spirit. I want to be in intimacy, in fellowship, in relationship with God, and the only one that disables me from relationship is myself, 'cause God will never shut it down, ever. And I can just be in love with Jesus, and we can all be. We have the opportunity of a lifetime in front of us. (at 24:51)

If he is truly effective with the physical healing as is portrayed, he certainly has the same ministry as Jesus!

No, because the Jesus and the Apostles called people to repentance, the Apostles were ministers of the Sacraments after Christ ascended. They did not do miracles as a sort of “demonstration”.

I did watch the whole video and while I am also skeptical he did call people to repentance as well in some of the instances. Jesus did heal in many cases without requiring the person to repent first did he not?

Not that I am aware of. Jesus even pointed out that people wanted miracles when the real miracle was forgiveness of sins in the account of the man let down from the roof.

It has been a while since I have read the accounts of the healings. I also thought that the Apostles were healing people.

Actually it does say in Acts that they lined the streets with the sick and afflicted and just the shadow of Peter passing by healed them.

To point out that something I’ve put in “Non-Catholic religions” is a more than a little redundant. If I raise a thread on Islam, will you post again that it’s “definitely not Catholic”?

Not everyone pays attention to what category it is under. It is easier to mistake some Christian resource as Catholic.

And sometimes readers may think that because they saw it on Catholic dot com, it is official and good.

This is a showman.

You may be right but I think we need to be careful. I know nothing about him other than what is available on the Internet.

One nagging thought though that I have is that the early Church from the Biblical record resembles this kind of ministry more than what is here today. The Bible indicates that as a result the Church grew rapidly which is quite different than today, at least in most parts of the world.
