I am looking to have a list of 101 devotions. Please recommend forgotten, traditional devotions. Let’s get this list to 101!

In my opinion, burying St. Joseph statue upside down is a superstition. One may pray to St. Joseph for the sale of their home, but burying a statue seems like superstition.
 
Having candles blessed at Candlemas

Having pets blessed on the feast of St Francis of Assisi

Having your throat blessed on the feast of St Blase

The blessing of the fleet for fishing boats - in certain parts of the world

Having your house blessed … at any time 😉

Crossing yourself/praying when an ambulance goes by (though I do so for all emergency vehicles, since most often I just hear the siren and don’t actually see 'em - anyone else do that or y’all stick to ambulances only?)

This is not a devotion but a superstition which should not be encouraged.
 
Hi,my first post- It’s there a difference between liturgical activity- Use of Holy Oils and Liturgy of the Hours and a popular Catholic Devotion.?

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Pray to St Anthony for lost and stolen items

St Dymphna for mental and nervous disorders and Alzheimer’s
 
I know there is a new devotion called Our Lady of America. The archbishop of the area deemed it supernatural, so it has approval from the locals and therefore devotion to Our Lady of America is encouraged.

Did anyone say green scapular?

Perrsonally, I seriously believe the burying of an upside-down statue of St Joseph is pure superstition and plain silly.

Yes. The use of Holy Oils (oil of the Sick, Oil of the Catechumens and Holy Chrism) are used as part of a liturgical rite and should not be used in any other capacity. The Liturgy of the Hours is also a liturgical rite and is not a devotion, just as Mass is not a devotion but an official liturgy of the Church.

A devotion usually has to do with popular piety as such is subject to guidlines from the Directory on Popular Piety and the Liturgy. Many devotions sprung up grass roots from the laity as a result of not understanding the Mass and needing a more accessible way to pray. For example the Rosary developed out of Monastic liturgical prayer where the 150 psalms were chanted in latin. Not being able to read latin, the laity would pray 150 Our Fathers which later became 150 Hail Marys. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament developed at a time when people had stopped receiving communion but had a strong desire to see the Blessed Sacrament. Other devotions developed out of private revelations.

Right after the Sacred Heart, you need to include the Immaculate Heart 😉

You could also include:
Marian Consecration (either St. Louis de Montfort’s or St. Kolbe’s)
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Seven Penitential Psalms
 
Reading the Bible daily
Attending daily Mass
The Lectio Divina
Participation in a parish’s Perpetual Adoration
Veneration of the Black Madonna
Ashes on Ash Wednesday
Advent Calendar
The Advent Wreath
Blessing of food for Easter on Holy Saturday (a Polish custom)
Oplatki (a Polish Christmas custom)

But didn’t the Virgin Mary appear to St Dominic, telling him the way God wants to convert the world is through the Rosary? I heard there is an organic development of the Rosary over time, but I heard the way we pray it today was because of the Virgin Mary’s appearance to St Dominic, and later to Blessed Alan de la Roche.
