In honor of the approaching 2 year annivesary of Summorum Pontificum, A Catholic Life blog will be putting out a special 2 year anniversary post. However, in preparation, we at the blog would like to honor the many parishes that have worked diligently with the help of so many dedicated lay people to have the Tridentine Mass stated again.

Please see the list on this page (scroll down as needed to the words “Mass of the Ages Returns To…”) and let me know if any other parishes should be added.

Thank you. Let us work to mention these parishes for their hard work and openness to the Mass of the Ages.

Is this just parishes that offer the EF? Or is it diocesan priests who offer the EF at multiple parishes?

For example, in Milwaukee (WI), ICKSP offers Mass at a church two blocks away (in addition to the EF at their church)… Would that count?

If it has started post-motu proprio, then it counts for my list!

Thanks, everyone for the help! I want to contact all of these parishes and see if any of them would like to write a post and/or submit photos of liturgies for my website. If any of you know any of these priests well, please let me know.

I wish I could say there was one in my diocese.

St Mary Church 750 S. Main Street Akron, OH
Immaculate Conception Church 37932 Euclid Ave. Willoughby, OH

Our Mass at the Cathedral was started under the old Ecclesia Dei indult of Pope John Paul II. However, there is one that counts for this list. It is the one at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston, ME. Both Masses are part of the St. Gregory the Great Latin Mass Chaplaincy.
We are hoping to have one started in Augusta in the near future. Will let you know if that happens.

I’m not sure if this counts, but anyway:

After the Motu Proprio, the TLM at St. Audoen’s Church, 14 High Street, Dublin 8, Ireland, was moved to my parish church:

St. Kevin’s Church, Harrington Street, Dublin 8, Ireland

due to a number of masses in Polish being introduced at St Audoen’s to cater for the Polish immigrant community.
