Hello my friends! I was wondering, is there a list of some sort, of Catholic saints exclusive to the Eastern Catholic Churches? Thank you.

Your best bet for a list of Eastern Catholic saints is going to be the liturgical texts of whatever particular Church sui iuris you’re interested in. Ruthenians have saints that are unique to them, Ukrainians have saints that are unique to them, Maronite have saints that are unique to them, Assyrians have saints that are unique to them…

Isaac of Nineveh

very interesting. venerated by Assyrian Church of the East and Eastern Orthodoxy. as well as the Chaldean Catholic Church and Syro-Malabar Church

Mor Isaac is generally honored as one of the great spiritual masters of the Syriac tradition. I just finished reading his Mystic Treatises for the fourth time. The book is pure spiritual gold!

Just to clarify, there are saints who were members of and/or are venerated primarily by particular Eastern Catholic churches, but all Catholics can and should venerate any Catholic saint from any Catholic church.

I have the old translation by A.J. Wensinck. There are some typos in it, and the English can be rather clunky and archaic in places, but I actually prefer his translation to the one put out by Holy Transfiguration Monastery.

I used to have a copy of the HTM translation, but when I read it I felt like it had lost its Syriac “flavor” and read more like it was translated from a Greek edition. That being said, the HTM translation makes for much easier reading than the Wensinck translation.

Regardless of the translation you decide to read, Mor Isaac is worth the effort.

I also remind here the Blessed Vladimir Ghika and the Blessed 7 Martyr Bishops from Romania!
