Listening to the angels!

My son(5) just crawled into my lap cuddled in then asked if he could go outside to listen to his angel. I questioned him and he said he could hear his angel trying to talk to him but it was so noisy he couldn’t hear. So out he went, and came bounding back in to tell me that His Angel just want to say he loves him. He is so cute telling me that we have to be very quiet to hear them talk to you just like when you listen to Jesus talk to us. ( did you know that if you want to hear Jesus or your guardian angel, you can not breate hard through your nose???)

It is nice to have a child truely believe in his guardian angel and to have just comfort in it:)
It does bring up some questions I will have to jump over to spirituality to ask them! I just wanted to share our story tonight.

Any other angel stories out there?
 
Delightful! God bless your son. May his angel keep him safe in every way always.
 
Can’t say I’ve ever talked to mine but I believe he’s there. Even asked his name at one point when I was young. Only time I’ve ever thought of him was when in times of trouble like when I stuck out on the highway alone at night with a banged up tire. Oh and yes help came five minutes later with after a quick request. 👍
 
Um, angels don’t have soft voices. God’s Voice is very soft, but not angels. I am a little worried about your son now.

Yes, I know. “I love you” is a good message, but remember, even Satan can disguse himself as an angel of light. Please tell your priest about this, and be sure to warn your son about the devil so he won’t get tricked. Teach him the Sign of the Cross; the demon can’t stand the Sign of the Cross.
 
Eucharisted my kids know the sign of the cross my the time they are two! Right hand, left sholder first know the Sign! They geluflect properly at 3. He knows his prayers. I will chat with the priest before mass today.

How ever he isn’t as…traditional, conservative as I’ld like, Not that he is liberal, but a little “easy” for me. Is there a Priest hanging out here that could PM me about this?

I think the second paragraph is a wise thing to keep in mind but I take issue with the first paragraph.

This doesn’t sound like Catholic teaching and I’m curious what your source is for this.
