Litany of the Saints - Which Masses?

I really like the Litany of the Saints and heard it again at the Easter vigil. I did some searching on the Internet but couldn’t come up with a list of Masses that contains this, although I have heard it at non-Easter vigils. Are there other weekend or weekday masses that do this?
 
I believe it is also done in Ordination Masses but I don’t remember any others off the top of my head. I enjoy the litany as well.

Our pastor told me it is only sung at Easter Vigil if there is a baptism.
 
I’ve only ever heard it at Easter Vigil, All Saints Day, and masses which included a profession of vows by a consecrated religious, or an ordination.

Love the Litany of the Saints. I often pray it privately at home 😃

Another wonderful thing Protestants miss-out on–The Great Cloud of Witnesses to the Glory of God, souls who still intercede for us in Heaven. I weep wherever I hear the Litany.
 
Having been confirmed this past Easter, one of the most powerful moments was hearing my confirmation saint during the litany. 🙂

It is part of the liturgy at the Easter Vigil and at Ordinations. A very short version is recited at any baptism.

A lovely version is used when the cardinals go into a conclave to elect a pope.

It is also part of the full funeral rite (though most Catholics are familiar with the funeral Mass, and not the rest of the Order of Christian Burial), with the response “pray for him/her/them” instead of “pray for us.” This version was used for the funeral of now-Blessed John Paul II.

Privately, it may be used at any time, and there is a somewhat longer version of it for private use.

Interesting. I have never heard it at a Mass with baptism. We had a baptism today at Mass and I have seen several others without a Litany of Saints being done. The only time I have seen it as the Easter Vigil or an Ordination Mass.

I wonder how common it is during Mass with a baptism.

I don’t have my Rite of Baptism for Children at home so I can’t tell you if it’s optional or not, but it’s called for after the Prayers of the Faithful so we chant it at every Mass that includes Baptism even if that Mass is the Saturday evening one when we have no choir or a weekday one (which is very rare indeed).

A shorter version is part of the rite of baptism. It was most likely said, not sung. 😉
 
It’s supposed to also be sung in procession on the 1st Sundays in Lent and Advent, but very few do this now.

??? Where is this provided?

(We are speaking about the litany of the saints here, not the Great Litany in the BCP.) 😉
