At an Easter Vigil in 2005 at Saint Mary’s Parish in Visalia, CA, a lady was singing “Litany of the Saints” by John D. Becker. Her voice and the way she sang it was very beautiful and dynamic, the best I had ever heard at any Mass. I felt like it really lifted my heart and mind up to God in the prayer of the song.
So, I want to know if I can find a recorded version by an equally incredibly gifted female singer (or by the same singer if someone knows who it was I had heard) that is as good as I remember I heard it that night at the Easter Vigil. I’ve tried Google and Yahoo searches but without any luck.
Does anyone know of a version of Litany of the Saints that is very beautiful and dynamic with a female singer with a voice something like either Sarah Brightman or Celine Dion?
