The normal colour for Requiem Mass should be black/violet. What about the Requiem Mass for martyrs? Should it be red instead, or to be kept in black/violet?

Red, as I understand it, is reserved for feast days of canonised Saints who were also martyts, as well as one or two other solemnities. Given that folks aren’t usually canonized before they’re buried I’d reckon black.would.be the appropriate colour.
