This thread is related to St Louis de Montfort’s Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary… in his book “True Devotion” he talks about wearing a little chain as a symbol of your consecration.
I’ve made my Consecration a couple years ago but - this is unfortunate - I keep on forgetting about it once in a while
so I was thinking, maybe getting one of these chains would be a great reminder.
The thing is, I wanted to do this a while ago but couldn’t find an appropriate chain. St Louis de Montfort describes it as an iron chain… but where would one get iron? what about stainless steel? and where do they sell chains like that? I’m thinking about a bracelet. Something that’s not really like fancy jewellery would be great. (but not something that would attract attention either). Just a plain little chain that people would think is a bracelet
does anyone wear a chain like that? where did you get it? I checked in arts and craft stores and they do have chain bracelets but I don’t think they are very durable. I’d like mine to be very durable and last pretty much forever, lol.
thanks!
