There’s a bit of a joke on that subject.

A parish had a problem with bats in the steeple. They tried noisemakers, they tried sealing up the entries, but to no avail

A retired monsignor finally found a way. He brought in the bishop to Confirm all the bats and they never saw them around the Church again…
