*The greatest of all is that he has shown me my littleness and how, of myself, I am incapable of anything good. *- St. Therese, the Little Flower.

Sometimes, we think it is a piece of cake to do little thing, but it is the hardest thing to do and to please God.

True. And sometimes you have to learn this the hard way. By falling into the sin of pride, by taking on too much and failing at your tasks, by focusing on what you achieve instead of giving thanks to God for being invited and able to do the minimum. Mea maxima culpa.

Thank you for posting this - it will get me started on my Friday.

In “The Story of a Soul” St. Therese writes that one sister was very harsh with her, yet St. Therese would always make a point to smile at her. My goodness how hard that must have been. Her little ways made her a Saint who now enjoys the glories of Heaven.:o

I agree and remember how Therese said that many look for the big things to do FOR God but what are presious are the “little things” that come our way every day that we tend to miss for the desire to look for the big things that come once in a life time.
