That sounds lovely. How is the liturgy?
The Liturgy is truly a blessing. I just finished speaking with the priest about its historical continuity and with the exception of a few minor changes, it is the liturgy of the ancient west. It is not celebrated like the pre-vatican II liturgy in which the priest did his thing while the people did their own private devotions. The liturgy is in the vernacular and there is dialogue between the priest and the people. The hymns are also beautiful. We use the St. Ambrose prayer hymnal. I hope Rome adopts the same liturgy and I don’t see why it wouldn’t. It would heal the painful conflict over the liturgy that has been going on in Roman Catholicism ever since the reforms.
It’s over an hour drive, but hopefully I will make it over there one of these weeks.

I’m thinking something akin to how Confessional Lutherans find like-minded parishes on lutheranliturgy.org?I was about to say “I’ve never lived within driving distance of a WRO parish, but I wish I did” … and then I did a little checking and it turns out that I currently live within driving distance of a WRO parish.
Yes and no – not entirely similar to that, but there are webpage(s) that list all the WRO parishes (IIRC).

I remember some time ago, during (or after?) a conversation about conservative Anglican parishes, wondering why they don’t have a nice resource for finding a parish in a given area. (I don’t remember whether I ever went looking for such a resource w.r.t. Lutherans.)
