In my parish, many of the people who claim to have formal training in Liturgy do not have a nodding acquaintance with the GIRM. They were told that Vatican II reversed the emphasis of the Mass from the sacrifice to the community. (GAG)

Time to start the ladder, pastor first, then the diocesian liturgy office, then the bishop, and so on, until you get it corrected.

Most dioceses do have a diocesian liturgy office

When you check your diocese, it may be listed as the Office of Worship rather than liturgy -
