Liturgy of St. John as celebrated in St. Peter's Basilica, Rome

Can anyone tell me about the liturgy of St. John and the tradition of its celebration in St. Peter’s? I understand that it is an Eastern Rite liturgy but that is all I know. -RoderickA
 
Ugh! They called The Great Entrance the Offertory :confused:🤷
It’s the same spot in the overall liturgy, and is the presentation of the gifts to the altar in both cases…

Tho properly, an offeratory is from the people to the celebrant, and the Great Entrance is from the celebrant to God…
