Liturgy of the Hours or Divine Office?

Since the Liturgy of the Hours or the Divine Office are liturgical prayer, I thought I should post something here.

I am looking for some advice on starting to add something like this to my daily prayers. Anyone who has experience with this, your advice would be appreciated.

Also, anyone who is familiar with the many different books and missals that these can be found in, I could use some assistance in determining where to start in selecting the right thing.

Finally, if anyone knows of any major changes or anything like that coming soon, that would be appreciated. I don’t really want to invest in something that will be replaced by a new version next month.

Hi cousin many of my ancestors are from Kentucky so I never know no doubt I still have cousins there.

I was wonder about this same thing the other day and ran across a thread on this topic I believe in Spirituality. I’m on my husband lap top now so I don’t have all my links. Someone had posted a good website on this subject. Hopefully they will come in here and post it again.

I know if you are starting it has been advised to buy the Christain Prayer book. This is my plan.
