I have the single volume Christian Prayer book that I use to pray the Liturgy of the Hours. Currently we are in the 32nd Sunday of ordinary time, correct? Well in the Proper of Seasons in my book, just a few pages ahead on page 641, it says Sunday after Pentacost, Trinity Sunday. It then continues through Corpus Christi and Sacred Heart before returning to the feast of Christ the King, which is the last Sunday in Ordinary time. In my book, Pentacost ends on Page 610 and on page 611 is the 7th sunday in ordinary time.
Is this a misprint? It seems silly to put the Sunday after Pentacost just before the end of ordinary time, instead of after Pentacost.
If this is the way it is supposed to be that’s great, but I want to see if my book was just printed wrong.
Thank you for any responses!
