Since our Holy Father has asked the faithful to rediscover the Liturgy of the Hours, I’d like to bring to the forefront a few resources that anyone can use to begin praying the Liturgy of the Hours. But before I begin…
…I want to extend my plea: Please don’t use Universalis. It does not use the correct translation, so it is not really the liturgy of the hours. Yes, a laity, you can use it for private prayer, but why wouldn’t you use the real liturgy of the hours if you are able (and you are, see below).
Just please don’t use it. There’s no good reason to.
