The Liturgy of the Hours Apostolate is free for Fridays and Sundays. I think their format is correct.

Buy *The Divine Office for DODOS *by Madeline Pecora Nugent. BEST book for learning to pray the Office. It guides you through the process in baby steps over 90 days. It shows you where to go in the 4-volume *Liturgy of the Hours, *the one-volume Christian Prayer and in Shorter Christian Prayer.

We use it in formation in the Confraternity of Penitents. It has just been updated and republished.
