Liturgy wonks: what liturgical publications do you read and recommend? Why?

And which do you avoid? Why?

I read: “Adoremus Bulletin,” “Latin Mass” magazine because they actually promote liturgical practices which adhere to both the letter and the spirit of the Church’s liturgical documents.

I do not recommend: “Liturgy and Ministry” magazine,“Today’s Liturgy” magazine, and “Today’s Parish Minister” magazine because they seem intent on promoting innovation while being dismissive or intentionally rupturing the Church’s liturgical patrimony. For example, the “Inside ML” articles opening each issue of “Liturgy and Ministry” often times read like rants from Call to Action.

I’m not sure what else to say as it seems you already have it figured out pretty well. I would probably add LTP’s “Pastoral Liturgy” (formerly “Rite” magazine) to the list of ones to avoid.

I only get the Adoremus Bulletin because I don’t know about other particularly good publications. I stay clear of things from U.S. Catholic, Liturgy & Ministry, etc., mostly because I’ve seen their online side, and I don’t wish to pay money for a periodical that will raise my blood pressure.
